Celebrating Gifted Education Month

Grades 3-5:

  1. The Gifted Team
Project: Students will work together to create a "Gifted Education Team" that includes students with various talents, from problem-solving to creativity. Each student will design a badge that represents their strength, and the class will present their team to the school.

Objective: Highlight the importance of collaboration and how different gifts contribute to success in a team setting.

  1. Gifted Education Around the World
Project: Students research how gifted education works in different countries. They can create a brochure, poster, or PowerPoint presentation showcasing the different ways gifted students are supported around the world.

Objective: Teach students about global perspectives on gifted education and broaden their understanding of how talent is nurtured in various cultures.

  1. Giftedness Through History
Project: Students choose a famous figure in history (scientist, artist, inventor) and create a biography or presentation that explains how this person’s gifts impacted the world. They can present their work through posters, slides, or a skit.

Objective: Connect historical figures with the concept of giftedness and inspire students to see the broader impact of their own talents.
