GAGC recently received the following note from  M. René Islas, NAGC
Executive Director ........

As 2016 comes to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your continued support of all children with extraordinary gifts and talents. Together we will achieve the vision of a world where giftedness is fully recognized, universally valued, and actively nurtured so that children from all backgrounds get the support they need to reach for their personal best and contribute to their communities.

Over the past year, NAGC has enhanced our efforts to build relationships and foster community. On that note, I ask that you help connect and strengthen our common passion by sharing three links with your networks.

  1. Top 2016 NAGC Blog Posts. Insightful, timely commentary and synthesized research on supporting the needs of gifted and talented students.
  2. Giftedness Knows No Boundaries. An awareness campaign that allows the public to look into the eyes of gifted children.
  3. Support the movement to SEEUNDERSTANDTEACH, and CHALLENGE gifted children from all backgrounds, with a financial contribution for the 2016 tax year.

Best wishes for a gifted 2017!

Warm regards,

M. René Islas
Executive Director
